A Bosham Wedding on a Glorious Summer’s Day

Gemma and Nicholas’s Bosham wedding was at Holy Trinity Church, Bosham and a marquee at Rectory Farm Meadow. It was a gloriously sunny, if very hot, day and everyone had a fantastic time. Rectory Farm Meadow is a great venue if you are getting married in Bosham. It is walking distance from the two main churches, but very secluded, being away from the main tourist area.

Bosham can get very busy on a hot summers day so it is always a relief to get parked up and start work. I always live in fear of being late! The light was great, very clear and bright and not too contrasty despite the fact it was a very hot day.

The ceremony was in Bosham’s Holy Trinity Church. A church so old it is featured on the Bayeux Tapestry. It is the place where King Harold prayed before crossing the channel to sue for peace (unsuccessfully) with William of Burgundy. It is always a privilege to work in such a historic building.

After drinks on the green the guests all walked to the field for a well-earned lunch, as well as speeches and dancing later on. It was a great day.
