Brighton Wedding

Brighton Wedding

Jim and Anna’s Brighton wedding took place right in the bustling heart of the town on a lovely hot August day. Brighton was filled with tourists and day trippers a regular challenge for a Brighton Wedding. I started shooting at Anna’s amazing suite at the Hotel du Vin. It was then a short walk to¬†Brighton Register Office for the ceremony. Anna and Jim’s friends packed into the ceremony room it was the fullest I have seen the room as a wedding photographer. We then took a short walk to Brighton beach for some photos of the bride and groom. The beach was incredibly crowded. This was a bank holiday weekend and the first bit of really warm weather for a while and it looked like half of the population of London had come down for the day. There were thousands of people on the beach. We descended the steps to look for a good place to shoot, and when we did rapturous applause came from the beach as Anna arrived in her wedding dress. It was a magical moment and one I would have never had imagined happening, but I guess everyone loves a wedding! After we had finished on the beach we returned to the Hotel du Vin for the wedding reception. The speeches were great, full of joy and laughter.

Brighton Wedding

Jim and Anna really enjoyed their day and I had a great time photographing it. There laid back approach and stylish touches really made for a very happy day for everyone, and Brighton’s unique spirit and vivaciousness really makes a day like this special.
